This area has 19 campsites and has newly upgraded electrical service to 30amp and water. The park dump station is located at the entrance to this section. The beach/playground area and the DNR dock area are a short walk to the south (left on the picture). Access to the Upper Park is at either end of this camping area.
This area has eight campsites and is heavily wooded with 20amp outlets. The pavillions, bathrooms, and concession/kitchen facilities are located in this area, along with horseshoe pits, baseball diamond and tennis courts.
The Park is open from May to October. Rates for 2023 are as follows:

A seasonal rate is no longer available.
* In upper sites, water hookup is $2/night additional, only available if a hose may be connected to a vacant lower campground site spigot without crossing another campsite or park street. Request permission from Township staff.

In the summer of 2005 the Committee with the help of the Ontonagon County Road Commission, John Korich and the donation of sand, a beach was constructed on the shoreline of Lake Gogebic.
