Welcome to Bergland, the Gateway to Lake Gogebic, the U.P.’s largest inland lake!

We are nestled in the million-acre Ottawa National Forest and only 30 miles from the Porcupine Mountains on Lake Superior. Outdoor activities are plentiful in both the summer and the winter. There are miles of hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails for all seasons.

If camping excites you, the Bergland Township Park provides ready access to both the town and the lake. Further down the west shore are two county Parks and one State Park. Come and visit and enjoy the great out doors.
